Researcher biography

My name is Jonathan Redshaw and I am a postdoctoral researcher in the School of Psychology at UQ.

I have several lines of research interests in the field of child development. For example, I am interested in: (1) when and how children come to think about and prepare for the future, (2) when and how infants begin to copy others’ actions, and (3) when children begin to reason about numbers.

My current ECDC project focuses on how monolingual and bilingual children develop an early understanding of counting principles (even before they can count properly).
