Dr Jon Redshaw
Postdoctoral Researcher
Researcher biography
My name is Jon Redshaw and I’m a postdoctoral researcher in the School of Psychology at UQ.
I have several lines of research interests in child development. For example, I am interested in: (1) how children think about and prepare for uncertain future events, (2) how children to use “thinking tools” such as maps and calculators to help themselves solve difficult problems, and (3) how infants learn to imitate their caregivers and other people.
My PhD students Kristy Armitage, Jess Crimson, Shalini Gautam, and Zoe Ockerby are currently working on a number of projects related to these questions.
