For Parents

Developmental psychology is one of the most time consuming, but rewarding forms of psychological enquiry. We engage with each child on a one-to-one basis, with sessions lasting for up to 1 hour.

As developmental researchers, we need to interact with children at specific ages, depending on the current study being undertaken. Therefore we rely on the goodwill of many parents to support our work. Just an hour of your time goes a long way to further our scientific understanding of children.

Once you have expressed an interest to participate with your child in our studies, your information will be stored in our database, and we will email you when your child is at an appropriate age for an upcoming study. We will then follow up with a phone call to make an appointment to visit our centre at a time that is convenient for you.

Appointments are available Monday-Sunday, and each child receives a certificate and small gift for participating.
