Researcher biography
My name is Mingxuan Zhao and I am a PhD Candidate in the School of Psychology at the University of Queensland
My primary research interest is in the field of developmental psychology, with a focus on child social learning. Specifically, I am interested in imitative behaviour in children – to what extent are social aspects driving imitation and to what extent is imitation rational? More broadly, I’m interested in the development of human cumulative culture through high-fidelity transmission.
