Researcher biography

My name is Philippa Neary and I am a PhD candidate in the School of Psychology at UQ.

My research interests relate to the field of educational and developmental psychology. I am particularly interested in typical and atypical child development, including developmental disorders, and effective approaches towards promoting positive development for all children. Specifically, my PhD research focuses on the development of empathy in primary school-aged children, and how we might accurately measure and facilitate empathy in this age group.
