Researcher biography

My Name is Alex Gibbs, and I am a PhD candidate in the School of Psychology at UQ.

My key areas of interest include both organisational and developmental psychology. More specifically, I am interested in how parents manage the boundaries between work and home life, and the implications of this for their children. My research aims to understand how working parents recover from their workday, how they integrate their work and home life, and how their children observe these relationships.

For more information on my current study, please visit UQ’s volunteer research page, or contact me via email.
