Researcher biography

My name is Brett Fitzsimmons and I am a PhD student in the School of Psychology and the Early Cognitive Development Centre at UQ.

My research interests are the developmental outcomes for children with autism spectrum disorders. Specifically, I am interested in family mediated interventions for children with autism spectrum disorders. My research aims to investigate the process and implementation factors surrounding these interventions to determine the level of their impacts on the effectiveness of the intervention.
